Tele-Port! is a recent project made up of leading Luxembourgish jazz voices and Russian saxophonist Zhenya Strigalev, an integral part of the London jazz scene for a decade. The concept of their original music can be defined as a distiller of carefully chosen ingredients, from the heart of Europe (with its romanticism, wisdom and patience), the United States (with its history of jazz) and of the Orient (with its rich traditions). The result is a modern approach to jazz with compositions taking different directions, teleporting the listener to a multitude of places ... because each member of the group is also a competent composer adding his own background.
Tele-Port! will keep the promise evoked by its name and take you on a journey: from meticulous minimalism to songs carried by the groove, resulting in improvised energetic supernovas.
