Located in the heart of the city, the "Stater Maart" is a bi-weekly market in Place Emile Hamilius which offers a wide choice: regional and seasonal products, organic labeled products, flowers and plants, fruits and vegetables, fish, meat, bakery. and pastry, roast chickens, pasta, cheeses, and all kinds of other artisanal products.
Note that from March to the end of August, the Wednesday market hosts a Food-Village made up of several Food-Trucks and stands allowing you to taste on the spot in the friendly setting of the market including vol au vent, quiche Lorraine, vegetarian noodles, sandwiches, hamburgers, poke bowls, hotdogs, kebabs, fries, croques monsieur, Asian or South American specialties or even pastel de nata, coffee or espresso.
