Dominique Auerbacher / Holger Trülzsch: The landscapes of Kairos
Dominique Auerbacher and Holger Trülzsch have for several years pursued a reflection on the landscape, as evidenced by their respective works. In the installation Landscapes of Kairos, they combine and create a dialogue between their visions and evocations of the landscape.
H. Trülzsch's photographs capture the appearance of landscapes in the traces of the stained ground of his studio (or of other workshops), in the fleeting drips of inverted colors. In addition, on his painted Polaroids (printed in large format), the traces of paint evoke the plant structures of a luxuriant nature and open another space, that of a dreamlike landscape.
The paintings of interlacing sentences from the Reliefs series by D. Auerbacher, combine according to the literary form of the centon, extracts from texts from various origins (literary, mythological, ethnological, scientific, artistic ...) to form, to from reliefs (in the sense of remains, traces), a set of mental images of the landscape.
