Formed in the mid-90s, the two-time GRAMMY Award-winning The Evanescence has had an impact on people all over the world. The group has been instrumental in establishing a global critical mass for women in rock. The band's seminal 2003 debut album, Fallen, laid the foundation; spend 43 weeks on the Billboard Top 10 selling over 17 million copies worldwide. Leading single and worldwide hit "Bring Me to Life", hitting the Billboard Hot 100 and marking their first UK hit single. The equally popular "My Immortal" peaked in the US and UK. The album produced four singles in total, including "Going Under" (US Modern Rock, UK) and "Everybody's Fool" (US Modern Rock, UK).
The new album, Resist, marks a departure for the group; primed with 10 anthemic tracks and driven by great melodies and dark hooks, Resist puts a futuristic spin on the world of heavier music, both instrumentally and thematically.
