Originally from Luxembourg, this multidisciplinary artist currently resides and works in the North East of England. His creations explore the meeting between nature and industrial remains, shaped by meteorological elements and time.
Through his works, Federmeyer-Gwynne seeks to express the essence of places and industrial ruins rather than faithfully reproducing them. His process-oriented artistic approach invites reflection and observation, giving depth and history to his creations.
Since 2022, she has engaged in a more environmentally friendly artistic practice, using local raw pigments, notably Minett iron ore, to capture the richness of her subjects. His works, marked by textures evoking degradation and erosion, are a tribute to his family and to the history of Luxembourg, where iron played a crucial role in industrial, financial and social development.
