What is written, and what is not? A2B, this brand new group was born from the meeting of two Luxembourg musicians, from musical backgrounds often described as opposites: Béatrice Picard, classical percussionist studying in Amsterdam, and Arthur Possing, pianist and jazz vibraphonist.

On the menu: original compositions, minimalist pieces and interpretations of pop/rock music.

The duo met in 2021, during the creation of an eclectic and international ensemble in Germany. Very quickly, they discovered their common sense of timing and rhythmic perception, whatever the genre, which motivated them to develop a unique universe. The passion for writing and arranging also represents a driving element of the group, seeking to overcome the boundaries between written and improvised music.

Good to know

In the first part, we find Margaux Vranken, pianist, composer and singer with a varied musical background, including classical and jazz. Songbook, her third album, is a set of instrumental or vocal songs that reflect the full palette of colors of Margaux Vranken's compositional work.
