Framerate: Pulse of the Earth - ScanLAB projects
Framerate: Pulse of the Earth reveals the alterations of landscapes caused by human industry and the forces of nature: destruction, extraction, habitation, construction, harvesting, growth and erosion. Created from thousands of 3D digital models of natural and urban landscapes, FRAMERATE allows you to observe their evolution on a scale impossible to capture with traditional cameras. The exhibition invites us to think and feel on another temporal scale, that of geological time, the time of the seasons, the time of the tides. This experience allows us to contemplate change and the pace at which it is established. By creating a space conducive to a change of perspective, FRAMERATE builds a bridge between art and science: the data collected for its creation constitute a valuable scientific database for research. This exhibition is part of the urban tour Cyber Structures: Material RealitiesDigital Experiences and the Biennale Architectures d'Esch Capitale Culturelle.
