In his new travel narrative titled Yamabushi, the author and traveler Robert Weis delves into a spiritual journey in the mountain ranges of Japan. In a conversation with journalist and writer Jérôme Quiqueret, he shares his impressions and motivations to immerse himself in the lifestyle of the Yamabushi, ascetic monks practicing millennial rituals such as fire walking and cold waterfall meditation.
