Many associations rely on a single donor (often the state or a municipality). This dependence weakens their autonomy and sustainability: in the event of budget cuts or political change, their operations are threatened. Diversifying sources helps secure the future and anticipate unforeseen events.
The objective of this day is to inform associations about other possible sources of funding and to become a place for inter-association networking: finding partners, sharing project ideas, strengthening mutual visibility.
