On Sunday, November 30, 2025, Saint Nicholas, accompanied by Père Fouettard and angels, will tour the city to distribute his famous bags of sweets to children.
Program
2:30 PM - Central Station
Arrival of Saint Nicholas by tram at Luxembourg station; welcome by the political leaders of the City; musical accompaniment by the "Tramsmusek".
2:45 PM - Place de Paris
Arrival of the procession at the Place de Paris for the distribution of the “Titercher” by the “Lëtzebuerger Guiden a Scouten Georges Everling Gaasperech”; musical supervision by the “Bouneweger Nuechtigailercher”.
4:00 PM - Upper Town
The procession leaves the Place de Paris heading towards the Upper Town.
4:20 PM - Upper Town
The procession will pass through Rue Philippe II, Grand-Rue, Marché-aux-Herbes and Rue de la Reine to reach Place Guillaume II; accompanied by the "Tramsmusek" and the dancers from the Cathy Moes by Li Marteling dance school.
5pm to 6pm - Place Guillaume II
Speech by Madam Mayor; distribution of “Titercher” by the “Lëtzebuerger Guiden a Scouten Georges Everling Gaasperech” at Place Guillaume II; musical supervision by the children's choir of the City Music Conservatory.
