WIP, which stands for "Work In Progress" in Paris, has been transformed into "Word In Progress" in Luxembourg since 2016. Usually held on the second Tuesday of each month, from November to May, WIP Luxembourg invites you to discover three ongoing texts and their authors.
The idea is to come to this special edition and listen to unpublished texts in a cozy atmosphere. After each reading, you can share your thoughts with the author and the audience. To facilitate exchanges, an "author-killer" is present alongside the author to moderate discussions sparked by the audience.
In French, Luxembourgish, German, or English: each edition is dedicated to a language spoken in the country. This edition is devoted to the German language, showcasing three German-speaking authors, Nico Helminger, Samuel Hamen, and Elif San, moderated by Jérôme Jaminet.
Nico Helminger, born in 1953, author of theatrical plays, poetry collections, and opera librettos, has received multiple awards for his literary work. Samuel Hamen, writer and literary critic, has published works combining literature and interdisciplinary reflection. Elif San, a Luxembourgish poet, engages in stage performances and cinematic creations.
