Cours : Outdoor Botanical Drawing Workshop
This outdoor botanical drawing workshop invites participants to observe, draw, and experiment with plants in a relaxed and creative setting. We will meet at Blumm for an introduction covering composition tips, how to choose subjects, and the basics of watercolor, before heading together to Merl Park to draw from life. Participants will create sketchbook pages, research studies, and, if they wish, watercolor pieces. The workshop is open to all levels and focuses on exploration, observation, and enjoyment rather than perfection.
Please bring fine ink pens, a pencil, watercolors, brushes, a cloth, a small water container, and a sketchbook. For full practice, use watercolor or thick paper with a rigid support, plus any portable tools you like.
