Are you looking for an original, immersive and unusual activity to enjoy with family and friends? We took a little tour of the Casemates de la Pétrusse, and the result...it's totally validated by the only two members of the Happy Team who hadn't yet visited these fascinating galleries, steeped in history and full of well-kept secrets. The Casemates de la Pétrusse open their secret passages for a unique adventure beneath the city, and the good news is that they're open ALL year round (except December 25 and January 1)! It's the PERFECT way to take your friends and family with you as they discover or rediscover Luxembourg! In turn military bastions, shooting ranges, war shelters, mushroom cultivation sites and even festive beer halls, these underground galleries have lived a thousand lives. They form part of the historic fortifications of Luxembourg City, which have been a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1994. Today, it's possible to visit them in a slightly different way: through the rock, different lighting effects and scenographies bring history to life... Our favorite? A small projection room nestled in the rock, which traces the history of the Casemates from their construction to the present day. An immersive, one-of-a-kind experience that plunges you into the heart of past centuries. And yes, it's not every day you get to chat with stones... So, are you ready to go behind the scenes of the city?
