Exhibition - André Masson, there is no completed world
Committed and sensitive to the upheavals of his century, André Masson is one of the greatest painters of the 20th century, but also the inventor of automatic drawing in the 1920s and one of the precursors of American abstract expressionism. Nearly 50 years after his major exhibition at the Museum of Modern Art in New York, the Center Pompidou-Metz is paying tribute to him, on the occasion of the centenary of the Surrealist Manifesto.
