The Strassen Contemporary Art Biennale began in 2001 with the aim of promoting local culture and encouraging dialogue between artists and the public in Luxembourg. It returns for its 12th edition under the theme of sustainability. The theme was to inspire artists and visitors to think about environmental and societal issues, thus giving a new dimension to the works presented.

The jury selected 90 exceptional works showcasing a diverse range of artistic techniques including paintings, sculptures, photographs, textiles, ceramics, collages and assemblages from 30 talented artists.

This event, beyond municipal borders, has become a pillar of the regional artistic scene, with remarkable longevity, strong attendance and the participation of quality artists.

This 12th Strassen Contemporary Art Biennial promises a unique and enriching experience for participating artists, visitors and art enthusiasts.
