Hanna oder der Spalt der Erinnerung & Living and drawing in the Ravensbrück concentration camp

Melanie Noesen and Martina Roth's play raises the question of memory, forgetting and guilt in relation to persecution and repression under the Nazi regime. After the play, historian Kathrin Meß and museum director Frank Schroeder present drawings of the Ravensbrück concentration camp for discussion.

The drawings were made by women who immortalized their experience of the camp. The motivations behind these drawings are manifold: resistance, hope, friendship, documentation. Even today, they are an important testimony against oblivion.
