The art of Jean-Pierre Beckius, primarily renowned for his paintings of the Moselle region, is distinguished by its thematic diversity and artistic expertise surpassing impressionist influences. To celebrate his 125th anniversary, an exhibition of 90 paintings and studies showcases the distinctive creative periods of the artist. The selection highlights little-known or unknown works from his family’s heritage or other private collections, complemented by items from the Villa Vauban's collection, primarily created abroad (France, Italy, Netherlands) and including family portraits.
