An impressive fortification system defended Kirchberg and protected the city since the 1684 siege led by Engineer Vauban. Although these fortifications have almost disappeared since the Treaty of London in 1867, the museum offers two-hour guided tours exploring their rich history.
Good to know
Participants must wear suitable clothing, sturdy shoes, and bring a flashlight.
