The city of Luxembourg and its fortress have been depicted numerous times since the 16th century. City Visions approaches the subject in a playful way, as a visual experience of the city's evolution over the centuries and the most diverse perspectives on it.
Drawing on the museum's collections, the exhibition focuses on "visions" of Luxembourg City—from early modern panoramas to abstract graffiti and picturesque cityscapes. It invites visitors to engage in dialogue with the exhibits and offers activities suitable for both young and old (games, puzzles and toys, tactile models, painting stations, and a creative studio).
With its wide range of images and interactive elements, this “unusual” exhibition invites you to a visit that is entertaining, curious and instructive at the same time.
