Kammerata Luxembourg celebrates its 40th anniversary with a concert dedicated to fantasy and romanticism. It opens with the world premiere of Olivier Dartevelle's Un Certain Docteur Ox…, a satirical musical fantasy based on Jules Verne, with the composer himself as narrator.
The second part features George Onslow's Nonet Op. 77, a rare Romantic work for nine instruments, in which woodwind and strings blend to create a rich sonic texture. This exceptional program, presented as part of the Fräiraim series at the Philharmonie Luxembourg, combines literary narrative and chamber music and marks a highlight of this anniversary season.
