From its playful opening to its serene finale, often named 'The Pastoral,' it is a tribute to nature at its most lively and vibrant. In this musical journey into the countryside, you will hear, among other things, the wind rustling through the trees, the murmur of a river, some thunderclaps, and also the call of a cuckoo, a village festival, or shepherds' laughter gathering their flocks.
