Brahms by Yannick Nézet-Séguin
I have learned that music is an endless journey and that I am only a humble pilgrim. It is certain that facing the anxiety of the blank page for more than 20 years fosters humility. This is exactly the block that Johannes Brahms had to overcome while writing his first symphony, as he feared failure. However, through perseverance, he mastered the genre to such an extent that his last work for symphonic orchestra, the Double Concerto for violin and cello, was composed in a single summer. Follow the extraordinary journey of this composer alongside Yannick Nézet-Séguin and the Chamber Orchestra of Europe.
