Piano concert at the Notre-Dame de Lorette chapel in Clervaux. Turkish pianist Büşra Kayıkçı will transport you to a world of sound with her moving neoclassical melodies.
Pianist, composer, and architect, Büşra Kayıkçı unites these three worlds in her music to create a fascinating total work of art. At the crossroads of minimalism and neoclassicism, she unfolds electroacoustic soundscapes that reveal a subtle aesthetic.
Büşra Kayıkçı, born in Istanbul, discovered her fascination with various forms of artistic expression at a young age, including piano, painting, and classical dance. This artistic versatility initially led her to architecture and environmental design before music once again became central to her creative work. Today, she moves between design and music, two disciplines that mutually inspire and influence her art.
In November 2020, she released her debut single "Doğum" (meaning "birth" in Turkish), followed by the album "Eskizler." She has also collaborated with the New York Theatre Ballet and choreographer Melissa Toogood on interdisciplinary projects. Her inspirations include John Cage, Michael Nyman, and Nils Frahm.
