A site-specific storytelling performance that delves into the concept of being nomadic and the rhythm of constant movement. This interdisciplinary performance merges spoken word, auto-ethnographic research, oration text, dance, and music to bring audiences into the world of nomads. Artists incorporate Afrofuturistic and cultural elements to provide new perspectives, engaging viewers in their works, and utilize their bodies to traverse through culture and history. The evening also features an exploration of the possibilities between losing balance and meeting the ground, inspired by freeriding practices. Performances combine contemporary dance, wrestling, and boxing to transform the stage into an arena, examining pain and seeking intimacy and closeness.
