Büșra Kayıkçı, pianist originally from Istanbul, creates meditative compositions influenced by a variety of sound palettes ranging from modern classical influences like John Cage to traditional Middle Eastern sounds. Beginning piano lessons at the age of nine, she also studied interior design before returning to her creative roots in music. Her work combines melodic and thematic motifs with minimalist flourishes and electronic inflections.
