Unmissable choreographer in France, Kader Attou infuses hip-hop aesthetics into contemporary dance pieces like no other. In Symfonia, he revisits a successful performance that draws on the emotional power of Henryk Górecki's hypnotic Symphony No. 3. Solemn and heart-rending, this composition is a tribute to the mother and woman. The acrobatic whirl of breakdance joins the aerial moves of classical ballet. Although the ten men and women on stage mostly wear sneakers, the music propels them into introspection and mystery, embodying a dance that is sensuous, expansive, and fraternal.
AROUND THE SHOW
On October 2 at 6:30 pm, the Accrorap dance company invites you to a dance workshop to discover its artistic universe, a blend of hip-hop and ballet. The workshop is open to everyone aged 16 and over, regardless of level or experience. Don't forget to book!
