To celebrate its fifth anniversary, the Luxembourg authors' federation A:LL Schrëftsteller*innen is organizing a literary festival on Thursday, July 3, from 4:00 p.m. to 1:00 a.m. at the Rotondes, inviting visitors to discover the country's literature from a playful perspective. An event that will shake up a somewhat conventional view of Luxembourg!

To open the ball, a selection of emerging voices - Nicolas Calmes, Flame Darinov, Maxime Heim, Miriam R. Krüger, Sara Andjelkovic - will compete in a wild slam.

Zoé Perrenoud, Dana Rufolo, and Christiane Mangen will be hosting creative writing workshops in French, English, and Luxembourgish. Register and learn the secrets of writing!

Then, Fabienne Faust, Olivier Garofalo, Jos Kayser, James Leader and Kerstin Medinger will each have 10 minutes to present a new text in the language of their choice between utopia and dystopia around the theme: “Stellt iech fir, Lëtzebuerg wier...”.

To add some rhythm to the evening, Tullio Forgiarini will have one of his texts read, interpreted and sung by Aude-Laurence Biver & Magaly Texeira; Benoît Martiny will respond with his jazzy percussion to the poetry of Tom Nisse; Antoine Pohu will accompany himself on the guitar and Jeff Schinker will once again call upon the subtle post-rock of The Cookie Jar Complot, this time without his legendary tent.

To close the reading section, we gave two carte blanche to Chris Lauer, who chose to collaborate with drag artist Marco Maleficent, and the second to Nora Wagener, who surrounded herself with the talents of actress and singer Marie-Christiane Nishimwe. Following the principle of carte blanche, we blindly trusted our two authors. Let yourself be surprised!

The icing on the cake is that at the end of the evening, Ryvage will close the festival in the Klub des Rotondes!
