The traveling exhibition, available from March 8 to September 15, 2025, at the National Museum in Esch-sur-Alzette, delves into the journeys and experiences of approximately 7000 women deported from France and Luxembourg to the Ravensbrück concentration camp as part of politically motivated repression. It highlights the diversity of the social and national backgrounds of these women and examines the influence of traditional gender roles on resistance and persecution. Chosen biographies illustrate the various dimensions of resistance, detention, and survival.
