In an African megacity, mopeds, cars, carts, merchants' cries, and animals form a constant symphony. In this acoustic chaos lives Soledad. Forced into combat at 14, she has killed men, women, the elderly, and children. War turned her into a dehumanized killing machine. Endowed with exceptional hearing, Soledad is reborn through music. It is said she sang in her mother's womb. In her nightmares, she holds a machine gun. Soledad tells her child soldier story by combining theater, singing, music, and dance to celebrate the beauty of a declining world.
