Guided Tour: The Transparent City. Yann Tonnar
👉 The Musée Dräi Eechelen is participating for the first time in the Biennial European Month of Photography, presenting a new project by Luxembourg artist Yann Tonnar as part of its 10th edition. The project features a series of composite images inspired by nine lithographs by Jean-Baptiste Fresez (1800–1867), published in 1828–1829 under the title Vues de Luxembourg. These emblematic panoramas of Luxembourg City have left their mark on the collective unconscious, being omnipresent in the historical representation of the capital. Over time, these views have acquired a nostalgic, even romantic patina, evoking an image of the capital "in the days of the fortress."
