Seed Bombs and Plant Impressions Workshop
A fun and ecological activity, the 'Seed Bombs' or 'bombs of seeds' workshop involves the creation of clay and seed balls, shaped into spheres. These balls are designed to propagate seeds in challenging terrains, a technique rediscovered in the 20th century by a Japanese botanist and popularized by the Guerilla Gardening movement.
Additionally, the plant impressions workshop or 'tataki zome' involves hammering plant parts onto fabric or paper to imprint their natural dyes, an ancient Japanese technique also known as leaf pounding or ecoprint in other regions.
