Since 2011, Die Hochstapler has developed a very personal style based on collective composition, radical individualism, and oral communication. Poetry, alphabets, and game structures form the foundation of their shared memory, used in a new and unpredictable manner during each performance. Their work is documented on five albums and has been presented at various festivals and venues in Europe and the United States, including: Philharmonie de Paris, Berlin Jazzfest, Constellation (Chicago), Donaueschingen Musiktage, Météo Festival, and Moers Festival.
