Ready for an entertaining and exciting journey through history?
500 years ago, communication was much more difficult than it is today. Horsemen delivered the mail and were on the road for weeks. The village of Asselborn in the north of the country was the only postal relay station in Luxembourg.
It is precisely here at the “Posteck” in Asselborn that the historical-humorous hikes begin. On a route of about 5 km, which partly follows the original route from the 16th and 17th centuries, hikers witness theatrical performances and meet historical “witnesses.”
