Archeophytes and landscapes of Luxembourg
From the Neolithic to the dawn of modern times, the landscape of our regions has constantly evolved through human interaction with its natural environment – a process also referred to as 'anthropization'. This lecture focuses on the continuous enrichment of flora under such human intervention. The historian aims to trace the steps of 'assisted migration', from the selection to the propagation of these utilitarian and ornamental plants in our fields and gardens.
