"Im Lauf der Zeit" ("Kings of the Road") is a film directed by Wim Wenders in 1976. This German feature film, lasting 174 minutes, is being presented in its original format (vostEN) on 35mm. It stars Rüdiger Vogler, Hanns Zischler, and Lisa Kreuzer. The film, which won the FIPRESCI Prize at Cannes in 1976, follows Bruno, a traveling cinema equipment mechanic who works in Western Germany along the East-German border, visiting obsolete theaters. Along the way, he meets a vulnerable young man recovering from a broken marriage, and together they set off on a journey.
