On the occasion of the European Heritage Days, Cercle Cité is opening its doors to the public on September 27 and 28. Over these two days, guided tours in four languages as well as a collaborative workshop will be offered, inviting everyone to explore and reinvent the architectural history of this iconic building. More than just an edifice, Cercle Cité is a true "stone memory," whose architecture embodies major milestones in Luxembourg and European history. Located in the heart of the capital on Place d'Armes, it is today a cultural center where heritage interacts with contemporary creation. Built between 1904 and 1905, it reflects Luxembourg's social life from the early 20th century and has hosted pivotal events like meetings of the ECSC High Authority, a precursor to the European Union.
