Cube No. 17 - Viktoria Vanyi (HU/LU)
"Zwëschent Welten" is a luminous and sculptural installation exploring the intermediate spaces of identity, language, and belonging. Inspired by a childhood memory and a Goethe quote – "As many languages as you know, as many times you are a human being.", the artwork reflects how each spoken language reveals another self. This dual presence, the word and its reflection, illustrates the fragmented nature of diasporic identity, shaped by memory, migration, and interpretation.
