Machiavelli, Pirandello, Aristophanes and Teatrolingua: an explosive cocktail to explore, with lightness and humor, the eternal dispute between genres.
On the one hand, Machiavelli's "misogynistic" fable, Belphegor the Archdevil, which Pirandello reworks: the devil, sent to Earth to verify whether women are the cause of human sins, prefers to flee his partner and return to hell. On the other, Aristophanes' Lysistrata, considered the first feminist work in literature, in which people, thanks to a sex strike, force Athens and Sparta to make peace.
On stage, 20 actors from 13 nationalities, accompanied by original music, projections created for the occasion, costumes and a handmade set.
