Emeline Houël lives in the Pyrénées-Orientales and works as a research engineer in environmental chemistry. She has been writing poetry for fifteen years and has been published several times in journals. She is currently participating in the photographic exhibition "Voir le vivant autrement" at the gardens of Serres d'Auteuil.
Her first poetry collection, "Cheminer sur la terre" (Henry editions), received the Trouvères Lycéens Prize. Inspired by her long walks in the forests of Guyana where she lived for 18 years, her poetry invites to reconnect with our sensitive body and to listen to the songs and stories whispered by nature.
