The audacious reinvention of Tchaikovsky’s masterpiece caused a sensation when it premiered in 1995. Best known for replacing the traditional female corps de ballet with a powerful male ensemble, this bold and witty reimagining shattered conventions and turned tradition on its head. It has since become the longest-running full-length dance classic in both the West End and on Broadway, collecting over 30 international accolades, including three Tony Awards.
