On Saturday, October 4, 2025, the Mëllerdall UNESCO Global Geopark, the Minett UNESCO Biosphere, the Luxembourg Commission for UNESCO and the National Museum of Natural History invite you to three unique and completely free guided hikes to discover the geological treasures of Luxembourg.

On the program:

The History of Iron Ore in the Minett (Giele Botter)
Explore the exciting world of former opencast mining and the geology of Minett with Professor Jean-Frank Wagner.
