At its core, there is an image that brings to life the intimacy of an emotion. Collected from a book, a magazine, archives, or online, this image, or one of its fragments, touches the artist, stirs him, secretly probes his memories up to childhood, and makes him question what it is about this precise vision that challenges him. In response, a drawing, a painting, an engraving, and sometimes a series of artworks are created, through which he appropriates what he has received and poetizes it by shifting it from the familiar to the strange.
