Jeanne Michard draws her inspiration from jazz, Latin music, and world sounds. A regular at Parisian jazz clubs, she performs regularly in France and internationally. Following her debut album, Songes Transatlantiques, this project has opened the doors to numerous programs. As both leader and sidewoman, she shares the stage with renowned artists such as Rhoda Scott, Gabi Hartmann, Hugh Coltman, and Marion Rampal, and has worked with several influential collectives as a composer and arranger.
Eager to deepen and broaden her horizons, Jeanne Michard unveiled her new opus, Entre Las Flores, in 2024. This album, a true blend of Afro-Cuban jazz, hip-hop, and mixed influences, combines dance and finesse, melody and spirit.
Winner of the "Frank Ténot Prize Revelation" at the Victoires du Jazz 2024 and surrounded by great musicians (Natascha Rogers at the forefront), she is now establishing herself as a rising star of French jazz.
