Guillaume Poncelet is a composer, arranger, and multi-instrumentalist from Isère. Trained at the Regional Conservatory and the National Jazz Orchestra (initially on the trumpet before becoming a talented self-taught pianist), he is renowned for his musical sensitivity and eclecticism. His minimalist, deep, and moving neoclassical music is in the tradition of Ravel, Mahler, and Philip Glass. His first solo album, 88, was critically acclaimed, followed by Haven and then Durango, which he presented to sold-out audiences at La Cigale in 2024.
A multifaceted artist, he is also appreciated for his collaborations with Gaël Faye, both on stage and in the studio, and produced Ben Mazué's album Paradis. He will accompany the latter on stage during the 2025 summer tour, embodying contemporary musical elegance.
