Cosy Season: Bookbinding with Viktoria Vanyi – Unfold your story
Join us for a new Cosy Season around bookbinding! This collaborative program promotes community involvement and cultural exchange, offering unique opportunities for artistic exploration and encounters while fostering creativity and personal expression.
This edition invites local associations and the general public to a guided tour of Eleanor Antin's exhibition. The session will be hosted by the artist Viktoria Vanyi and followed by a bookbinding workshop. Participants will create a leporello, an accordion-fold book made of paper, textiles, Polaroid photos, and drawings, resulting in a personal object that could serve as a personal archive. Inspired by Eleanor Antin's exploration of identity through transformation and storytelling, attendees can develop personal archives that expand over time.
The activity is open to all. We are happy to welcome you at the museum!
**Biography**
Viktoria Vanyi is an interdisciplinary artist born in Hungary and based in Luxembourg since 2021. She studied industrial design in Brussels. Central to her work are lived experiences, exploring themes of rootedness, memory, and cultural hybridity. Using analog techniques such as cyanotype, photography, and site-specific installations, she creates tactile narratives that reflect on what it means to feel at home within a place, language, or body. Her practice functions both as an archive and a dialogue, uncovering subtle layers of identity, heritage, and collective memory, while encouraging reflection on the fluid nature of belonging.
