A 45-minute monologue performance featuring Mélina Fagot by the company Les Ephélides. "Stase" introduces Ren, a woman dictated by a timer arbitrarily setting the length of her life. The countdown also stipulates moments of stasis where she might enjoy infinite time on the condition that she gives it to others. Through offbeat or sensitive memories, Ren insightfully investigates her human condition without restraint, enriched by musical and literary evocations. Accompanying her is a trove of cherished objects and the allegory of the hourglass, revealing the deep essence of youth.
