Cycling & Picnic @ Biodiversum. 27km, 39km or 58km (Flexible).

**What we will do together**

1. Cycle from Luxembourg station *(in front of the Police station)* to Biodiversum - Remerschen *(approximately 27km)*.
2. Have a picnic at the Biodiversum Lake. *(The visit to the Biodiversum Museum is optional and free.)*

Those who wish to do a shorter hike have the option of taking a bus from the Biodiversum back to the city or driving to Remich **(+12km)** with the group and taking a bus from Remich to Luxembourg City.

3. Cycle from Biodiversum to Luxembourg airport via Schengen and Remich *(approximately 31km)*.

With an average speed of around 18 km/h and a total stopping time of 90 minutes *(including 1 hour for the picnic at Biodiversum)*, we will be able to complete the ride in 5 hours and 30 minutes.

**Return home from the arrival point (Airport)**: There are frequent trams and buses to Luxembourg City and other directions.

**To bring**:
- A bicycle in excellent condition *(all types of bicycles are accepted)*.
- Energy snacks.
- Plenty of fluids to stay hydrated.
- Packaged food for the picnic.

Alternatively, there is a fancy *(expensive)* restaurant across the street from the Biodiversum, if you want to order food.

**Disclaimer**: If you decide to participate in this event, you are responsible for your own property and health. This distance *(58 km)* requires a **high tolerance for exercise/endurance/fitness**. The organizer will not be held responsible for damage to the property or health *(including cycling injuries)* of participants. The organizer will be responsible for navigating the cycle route from the start to the finish point.

**Weather Conditions**: Revised on **28/09/2025**. *(Source: Météo Luxembourg)* Sunny at 14° Celsius with a **0%** chance of rain. If the forecast becomes poor, the organizer may cancel the event six hours before the start time or earlier.

**Terrain**: 97% is paved (asphalt). 18 km of which are cycle paths.
