El Jose epitomizes the expression 'when the blues grabs you, it doesn’t let go!' Influenced from childhood by Stevie Ray Vaughan's blues rock, El Jose is a self-taught musician. In summer 2012, he formed his first group, El Jose and the Hibbie Blues, recording their debut album and gaining substantial stage experience.
El Jose has even shared the stage with renowned blues artists such as Toronzo Cannon, Carl Wyatt, Terry 'Harmonica' Bean, Mister Tchang, Kris Dollimore, Shun Kikuta, and opened for international acts including Thomas Schoeffler Jr, French Blues Explosion, Gas Blues Band, Ana Popovic, Yarol Poupaud, and Dirty Deep.
