This Deluxe Session brings together two talents from the pop-folk scene: Icelandic artist Júníus Meyvant and Dutch singer Josh Island, who now calls Luxembourg home. Two passionate storytellers who draw the audience into their warm and authentic musical worlds.
Known for his album Floating Harmonies, Júníus Meyvant captivates with his soulful voice, folk-inspired melodies, and unique blend of guitars, brass, and synths. Often compared to Sam Cooke and Devendra Banhart, his music delivers a sensitive and vibrant take on folk-pop.
Josh Island, meanwhile, embodies a modern pop-soul sound shaped by his European roots. Inspired by artists like Sting and John Mayer, he enchants with his on-stage energy and close connection to his audience. His debut album In My Head (2023), praised across several countries, confirmed his talent as a heartfelt and captivating storyteller.
