Let's take the time to discover this fascinating period in the history of the city of Luxembourg together. Using models, charters, and other archaeological objects from the permanent exhibition, let's travel back in time to the 10th century and see how, from the primitive castle called Lucilinburhuc, the medieval city gradually grew.
Then, let's leave the museum and visit the archaeological crypt on Rue de la Reine: it houses the remains of the medieval wall built in the 12th century.
